Hey Y'all...
Got some updates to share with you... we just finished our Brand New CD called, "Back on the Wheel" which will be released possibly in August. While we were in Nashville Recording our new project, our record company, Homeland Entertainment Group, surprised The Parish Family with a number one party in Hendersonville held @ the Bluegrass Country Club & Yacht Club.
Our single, "PRAY FOR ME" reached the number one slot on the Christian Voice Magazine chart in the month of June, Cashbox Magazine in June, and Christian Country Weekly for the month of May! We were so thankful for the kindness our company showed to us they presented us with an award.
We are so thankful to God for the abundance of blessings He has bestowed upon us! Thank you for your prayers of support that continue to strengthen and sustain us! WE LOVE YOU...

The Parish Family UPDATES...
Hello Everybody!
I'm back to blog and update you on everything that has gone on with us since last year! Whew! It has been very busy since last blog so "hold on"...here we go...
2010 Update as follows:
January: Recorded TV show Live in Nashville called, "Brush Arbor Jubilee"
February: CD called "Branches" was released
March, April, May, June: Busy with Concerts
July: Kesha hospitalized again for scar tissue removal (Doctors found another tumor)
August, September, October, November: More Concerts....Awarded "Vocal Group of the Year"-2010 Choice Awards (Country Gospel Connection)
December: Off with family all month
Now..on to 2011:
January, February: Busy with concerts and songwriting for new CD
March: Recorded track music for new CD in Nashville @ "Ronnie's Place" (Ronnie Milsap) with
Renowned Producer, Mark Carman & Bruce Watkins. Tragic death of our granddaughter, Michalea.
April: First #1 Single, "Jesus Is" topped Country Gospel Connection Chart.
May: Kesha back in the hospital AGAIN! Returned to Nashville to record a single of "Back on the Wheel" to be placed on CD project with Josh Turner, T Graham Brown, Marty Raybon, Jimmy Fortune, Trace Adkins, etc..etc.. proceeds will go to the building of Churches in Costa Rica & The Philipines!
June: #1 Single, "PRAY FOR ME" hit Christian Voice Magazine's Christian Country Charts; returned to studio in Nashville to finish Brand New CD called, "Back on the Wheel". Our grandson, Lex was in a head-on collision, requiring the Jaws of Life, life-flighted out, bleeding internally, and two weeks later..talking to us, sitting up on the edge of the bed and may even get to go home from the hospital very soon!
.....and we're UP TO DATE...up to the minute...!
Now...you are officially informed! Ha! HA! We will try to stay on top of things a little better from now on. Don't forget us on facebook @ The Parish Family Music and our website @

Happy New Year..
Well, HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody! I can't believe January is almost over!! We have been extremely busy so far this year! We are still waiting to get our new CD "BRANCHES" back..should be here anyday now. We have also been to Nashville to record a new DVD and a television show called, "BRUSH ARBOR JUBILEE" which will air on some of the larger networks real soon. We will keep you posted on the release date. We had the love & support of many of our family members; JJ & Pat Brimlow, Stacy & Debra Hogan, Darlene Smith, and Patsy (of course)! We could not do the things we do without their prayers and support! They were right there in the studio audience. WE LOVE OUR FAMILY!!
Gotta give God praise for having one of my songs, "GRACE NEVER HAS FAILED ME" recorded by a young man named Drew Parker. Drew did an awesome job of singing this song and I just want you to pray with me that God will bless his ministry. A cook enjoys cooking when everyone loves their cooking, a painter enjoys painting when everyone enjoys their art, and a songwriter LOVES to hear someone sing their song!! And Drew Parker sure can sing that song!! Praise God! I have no doubt that this young man felt exactly what I felt when God gave me this song. MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR
Hello everybody!
It's Christmas time again....time to reflect on the year and count our blessings. The most precious gift of all given to man is the sacrificial lamb, the son of God, our Saviour, our coming King...JESUS!! As we celebrate His birth, we should also offer up praises of thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father, for He knew we could not make it on our own. He has given us a direct link to Him through His son, but He still gives us a choice as He waits patiently and lovingly for us to come to Him, His arms outstretched just waiting for us to need Him and desire His presence. My prayer is that each one who reads this will desire His comfort this Christmas season and humbly ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive you of your sins. Your life will never be the same. Problems? Yes...in life you'll always have problems but with Jesus in your life, problems are much easier to handle.
We want to say, Thank You for a wonderfully blessed 2009 and we are looking so forward to bringing the Word of God through song to you again in 2010....thank you for letting us worship with you and we wish you & your family a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR in 2010.......Be looking for JESUS!!!! Creekside Fellowship-Last booking this Year
Praise God!! What a way to end the year of traveling for the Lord! We had the BEST service @ Creekside Fellowship in Cartersville, Georgia today! The Holy Spirit was on the move blessing and lifting people up. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this service. What a wonderful congregation of folks! If I lived in Cartersville...this would be MY church! People on fire for the Lord and hungry for a move of "The Comforter". Thank you, Creekside Fellowship, for making us feel so welcome and loved!
As previously mentioned, this will be our last date this year. We are taking some much needed time off with our families before we get going "wide open" in 2010. Don't forget, we have our new CD project coming out in January. I will post again before the New Year but I just want to say, "thank you" to everyone who has supported our ministry this year through your powerful prayers! We feel them and appreciate them so very much...please continue to lift us up!
